Charles "Chuck" Westin

Charles “Chuck” Westin entered in the arms of Jesus Christ his Lord and savior on September 23, 2022 with his family by his side. 

He was born to Verna Leonard and John F. Westin on June 10th, 1935.  He graduated from Duluth Central in 1953, and UMD.  He married the love of his life Eleanor “Hunt” Westin on February 10th, 1956.  Chuck started his career at the Duluth Visitors & Conventions Bureau, then moved to the Duluth Chamber of Commerce, NE Minnesota Development Assn., and his company Cathedral Hill Strategies.  He was a member at St. John’s Church.  He was active in the Jaycee’s and the Knights of Columbus.  Chuck enjoyed karate, golf, running, fishing, hunting, and curling.

The family would like to thank the staff at Westwood, Marywood, and Hospice for their loving care of our husband, father, and grandfather.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John F., and Verna Westin; brother, John “Skip” (Georgette) Westin; son, John R. Westin.

He is survived by his wife, Ellie; Children:  William, Vicki Jacques, Bob, and Sally Christensen.

Grandchildren: John (Brittany), Allison and Dan (Alyssa) Jacques; Bayley Westin, Hannah (Noah) Pauley, and Mackenzie (Kevin) Sienko, Lexi (Ryan Peterson) Westin.

Great Grandchildren: Jalisa Smith, Ada Pauley, Lena Pauley, Grey, and August Seinko, and Leni Jacques.

As well as many nieces and nephews; Special friends:  Mike Jacques, Kris Westin, Bill Christensen, and Mike Madden.
