Brenda A. Merry

Brenda A. Merry, 72, of Duluth, passed away on Sunday July 31, 2022, at Chris Jensen Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Duluth on February 3, 1950, the daughter of Chester and Clarice Merry. Brenda grew up in Duluth attending St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She had worked as a Pharmacy technician, church secretary, and with jail ministry. She loved spending time with family and friends, and her beloved dog Zoey. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Carl, Gilford and Gordy Merry, Beatrice Williams and Jane Merry. She is survived by her son Thomas C. Johnson of Superior, granddaughters Annika and Olivia Johnson, brother Ed (Roberta) Merry, sister Kim (Virgil) Lorg, and a sister-in-law Sally Merry, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Visitation will be held on Friday August 12, 2022, from 10AM until the 11AM Funeral Service in Dougherty Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
