Barbara Florence Gustafson

Barbara Florence (DeBrule) Gustafson age 88 of Duluth, went home to her Lord on July 24, 2025. She was born in Duluth on January 22, 1937 to Merritt and Irene (Walczak) DeBrule. Barbara married Howard Gustafson on August 13, 1960 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Her life was built on a solid foundation of faith and family. She was a member of St. Joe’s Catholic Church, and very proud of her catholic faith. More than anything she loved being a mom, grandma, and great grandma. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Barb is survived by her 5 daughters, Roberta (Gene) Bakke, Pamela (Robert) Pasek, Kim Terry, LuAnne (Todd) Theisen, and Michelle (Kenneth) Ericson; 13 beautiful grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Duluth Heights, on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Polish Catholic Cemetery.
