Over the past several years Dougherty Funeral Home has undergone extensive renovation and
redecorating. We have retained the traditional look and feel of the building with warm
colors and comfortable home furnishings. Artwork by local artists adds warmth and interest
to the wall decor. Our choices were made with our families' emotional and physical comfort
in mind.
We have two chapels available for visitations and services. Our chapels can accommodate a
very small intimate family gathering to seating 175 people. We provide an excellent music
and sound system. Handicapped accessible washrooms are located just outside the chapels. A
family room is available for a family to gather together or meet with a member of the clergy
prior to a service. A second arrangement room is available for families to meet with directors
to arrange or to pre-arrange services.
Our new arrangement room provides a warm, comforting environment designed specifically to help
families deal with one of life's most painful experiences. Our family resource center offers
an assortment of products to help the family create a meaningful tribute to their loved one.
A new self-operated lift was installed at our front entrance to provide handicapped
accessibility. Our parking lot provides parking for our families and their friends.
Complimentary coffee and tea are always available.
